Two arrestd with heroin

Tarn Taran: A team of the local narcotic cell, led by Sub-Inspector Sukhraj Singh, has nabbed two persons and recovered 420 gram of heroin from their possession. The police said a case under Sections 21, 61 and 85 of the NDPS Act was registered against the accused. They have been identified as Ranjit Singh Rana of Patti and Hardip Singh Deepu of Nathupur village.The accused were caught in Kulla village. The police said the accused had been identified as Harpreet Singh, his brother Gurpreet Singh, father Gurvel Singh and mother Lakhwinder Kaur. The father of the girl mentioned in his police complaint that Harpreet Singh, in connivance with his family, lured his daughter away with a marriage promise.

They have been identified as Ranjit Singh Rana of Patti and Hardip Singh Deepu of Nathupur village.The accused were caught in Kulla village. OC 4 booked for abduction Tarn Taran: Four members of a family of Gill Waraich village, 15 km from here, have been booked by the Sadar police for allegedly abducting a teenage girl of the same village. The incident occurred on May 30 and the case was registered on Monday. The police said the accused had been identified as Harpreet Singh, his brother Gurpreet Singh, father Gurvel Singh and mother Lakhwinder Kaur. The father of the girl mentioned in his police complaint that Harpreet Singh, in connivance with his family, lured his daughter away with a marriage promise. Sections 363 and 366 of the IPC have been slapped, he added. OC
