One of the few acclaimed artists in new media from the region, Manu has created his own brand of digital art work and this exhibition is titled Song of Peace. Working in the field of new media for the past few years, Manu, who is also a person with disability, has been experimenting with concepts in digital art since he feels that it needs to be exploited more in India. “Digital art has emerged as the most adapted art form off late and the world is experimenting and creating excellent art work using new media and digital art. He is also featured at the Biannual Art exhibition in Poland.

Amritsar, June 15 Mandeep Singh Manu, a state awardee and an artist of international repute from the city, opened an exhibition of his art work at SG Thakar Singh Art Gallery. One of the few acclaimed artists in new media from the region, Manu has created his own brand of digital art work and this exhibition is titled Song of Peace. The exhibition was inaugurated by RMS Chinna, president, Indian Academy of Fine Arts. It is being organised in collaboration with the North Zone Cultural Centre. Working in the field of new media for the past few years, Manu, who is also a person with disability, has been experimenting with concepts in digital art since he feels that it needs to be exploited more in India. “Digital art has emerged as the most adapted art form off late and the world is experimenting and creating excellent art work using new media and digital art. It’s a huge achievement for me to have been featured in some of the best digital-media art exhibitions around the world that has managed to expand my creative sensibilities,” he said. His works have travelled extensively throughout the world. He is also featured at the Biannual Art exhibition in Poland.
