Amritsar, August 17Three unidentified motorcycle-borne persons robbed three people on the main GT Road here on Friday. Sharma was returning home on his motorcycle when three robbers rammed their bike into his, making him fall. “As I reached ahead of Mucchal village, the accused came on a motorcycle from behind and hit my bike,” he said. Meanwhile, two others have been looted apparently by the same robbers on the GT road. One of the victims is Nishan Singh while the other is Ritnesh Kumar and they lost Rs15,000 and Rs3,500, respectively.

Amritsar, August 17 Three unidentified motorcycle-borne persons robbed three people on the main GT Road here on Friday. Among the victims is a Jalandhar resident, identified as Rajnish Sharma. Sharma was returning home on his motorcycle when three robbers rammed their bike into his, making him fall. After that, they snatched his mobile, laptop and purse containing Rs 5,000 while threatening him with sharp-edge weapons. “As I reached ahead of Mucchal village, the accused came on a motorcycle from behind and hit my bike,” he said. The Tarsikka police have registered a case under Sections 379-B (2) and 34 of the IPC. Meanwhile, two others have been looted apparently by the same robbers on the GT road. One of the victims is Nishan Singh while the other is Ritnesh Kumar and they lost Rs15,000 and Rs3,500, respectively. The police have clubbed the three incidents into a single FIR instead of registering different cases. — TNS
