BRIEFLYAmritsar: Lieutenant General RP Singh, GOC-in-C, Western Command, visited Amritsar Cantonment and Khasa Military Station on Wednesday and Thursday. He reviewed the operational preparedness and was briefed by GOC, Panther Division, and Commander, Khasa Brigade, on the prevailing situation. While visiting Amritsar Cantt and Khasa Military Stations, the Army Commander exhorted all ranks in Western Command to maintain high moral and be prepared for all contingencies. Deputy Commissioner (DC) Shivdular Singh Dhillon reviewed the preparations and interacted with representatives of different departments. He said, “Three hundred players of national and international level will take part in the tournament.” It will be held from September 27 to October 3.
