Tribune News ServiceAmritsar, September 6Members of the Sanjha Mulazam Manch held a protest in front of DC office here on Friday against the policies of state government. As many as 21 members of the organisation, led by senior member Nirmal Singh Anand, sat on a one-day hunger strike as a mark of protest. The protesting members said the state Finance Minister had not fulfilled his promises made during the Assembly polls. There are several hundred employees in the state suffering financial losses due to the policy delay and lapses on the part of the government. Members of the organisation across the state have been protesting against the injustice being meted out to them,” said Jagdish Naggar, general secretary, Punjab State Ministerial Service Union, Amritsar.
