The delegates also briefed them about their entitlements, job and educational opportunities available to them. A medical camp was also organised on the occasion. He said, “The project is going to benefit a lot of people. The work on the line is going to commence as soon as possible. A para-legal volunteer with the District Legal Services authorities, Khanna said panjeri, milk, ghee, rice, atta and sugar were not being provided to aganwadis centres in many villages and children, pregnant women and lactating mothers were being deprived from the Supplementary Nutrition Programme since July, 2019. Last year, Khanna filed a complaint with the Permanent Lok Adalat (PLA), after finding that many nutritional food items were not being provided. The PLA had later disposed off the matter, after the supplies were resumed. TNS
