Amritsar, October 16The district Health Department organised a workshop to create awareness about measles and rubella control. Speaking on the occasion, Civil Surgeon Anoop Kumar said that the best way to prevent the diseases was immunization of children. He said the WHO had a target to eradicate measles and rubella from India by 2023. He added that vaccination for the disease was available in government hospitals and parents must avail the benefit.
