Amritsar, November 3Central Jail authorities have nabbed a prisoner, Manjit Singh, alias Laddu, a resident of Lohar village in Tarn Taran, for allegedly possessing intoxicating tablets, cigarettes and tobacco. According to information, he returned to jail after the expiry of his parole period. While checking, jail staff got suspicious and found 50 sedative pills, 14 cigarettes and 100-gm tobacco. Gurinder Singh, in charge, Fatahpur police chowki, said he had been serving prison term in an NDPS case. He had gone on parole around a month ago.
