Students showcase craft at Espectro

Tribune News ServiceAmritsar, November 7The Postgraduate Department of Computer Science and Information Technology (DCSIT) of DAV College, Amritsar, organised 9th Annual Art and Craft exposition “ESPECTRO” at Arsh auditorium. The exhibition is an annual feature of the DCSIT in which students of bachelors of designing and multimedia (BDMM) exhibit their creative work. During the exhibition, handmade craft items made from wood, clay, thermocol, jute and paper mashie, 3D photo art, paintings, key holders made from wood, sceneries, tables, key chains, photographs and Rajasthani folk-based paintings were displayed. Principal Dr Rajesh Kumar congratulated Prof Vikram Sharma, Head of DCSIT, for organising the event that helped in the intellectual growth of students. Prof Vikram said this year, the department was celebrating 50 years of Internet and the 550th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev by organising the annual exhibition.

The exhibition is an annual feature of the DCSIT in which students of bachelors of designing and multimedia (BDMM) exhibit their creative work. During the exhibition, handmade craft items made from wood, clay, thermocol, jute and paper mashie, 3D photo art, paintings, key holders made from wood, sceneries, tables, key chains, photographs and Rajasthani folk-based paintings were displayed. Principal Dr Rajesh Kumar congratulated Prof Vikram Sharma, Head of DCSIT, for organising the event that helped in the intellectual growth of students. He added that students worked hard to exhibit their artistic talent and made innovative home utility items such as light shades, 3D photo art and paintings using wood, clay, paper, jute, thermocol, wool etc.
