Schools observe 550th Parkash Purb

Tribune News ServiceAmritsar, November 7City schools held multiple events to celebrate the 550th Parkash Purb of Guru Nanak Dev on Thursday. The occasion was marked by the recitation of ‘Japji Sahib’ followed by Shabad Kirtan by the school students along with members of Gurudwara Sahib. Kiranpreet Kaur, a student of Class X, threw light on the life and teachings of Guru Nanak Dev. This was followed by recitation of Anand Sahib and then langar was served. The students took part in ‘Gurbani ucharan’ and ‘Japji Sahib’ path.
