Parkash Purb celebrated with religious fervour

Our CorrespondentTarn Taran, November 12Cutting across caste and communities lines, devotees from all sections of society paid their obeisance at gurdwaras in the district to show their respect for Guru Nanak Dev on his 550th Parkash Purb on Tuesday. Bhai Balwinder Singh, manager of a gurdwara, said the bhog of Sri Akhand Path was solemnised at Diwan Sahib Hall. The kirtan was performed following the bhog of Akhand Path by the kirtin jathas of ragis. Congregations were organised in Patti, Chohla Sahib, Gurdwara Bir Baba Budha Sahib, Khadoor Sahib, Chabal, Bhikhiwind, Khamkaran, Khalra, Dehra Sahib and at other places. Free langars were served at gurdwaras.

Congregations were organised in Patti, Chohla Sahib, Gurdwara Bir Baba Budha Sahib, Khadoor Sahib, Chabal, Bhikhiwind, Khamkaran, Khalra, Dehra Sahib and at other places. Free langars were served at gurdwaras.
