56-yr-old ASI wins silver at Master Athletics ChampionshipTribune News ServiceAmritsar, December 2Surinderpal Singh (56), an Assistant Sub-Inspector (traffic), has won a silver medal at the Master Athletics Championship held in Chandigarh recently. He won the silver medal in 5,000m with an impressive time of 30.49 minutes. He had won two gold medals in 3,000m race walk and 5,000m run in the same championship in 2016. He bagged a silver medal in 2017. Not new to records, Surinderpal said his records in 5000m and 10,000m during police training were still unbroken.
