No arrest in 7.83L bank robbery yet

PK JaiswarTribune News ServiceAmritsar, December 8Day after the sensational robbery at Punjab and Sind Bank branch at Chhajjalwindi village falling under the Khalichian police station, the police were yet to arrest the suspects behind the loot. The accused, five in numbers, had decamped with Rs 7.83 lakh after pointing a gun at the security guard and staff members. They also took away the digital video recorder of the CCTV cameras. One of the accused entered the cabin of the cashier and took away the trunk containing Rs 7.83 lakh cash. They also took away the rifle of the guard deputed for the security of the bank.
