Our CorrespondentTarn Taran, December 8Three masked robbers overpowered the watchman of local Sewa Devi SD College of Education, Sarhali Road, tied him and escaped with Rs 48,900 on Saturday night. Chhote Lal, watchman of the college, in his complaint to the police said that he had gone to the bathroom when three masked robbers entered the college after scaling the wall and tied him with a blanket. The robbers searched all almirahs. He said that after some time he managed to get himself free and found locks of the rooms broken. The robbers took away cash of Rs 48,900 from the college almirah, he added.
