50 students attend art workshop

The students prepared a painting using the technique and learnt the intricacies of the art during the workshop. Amritsar, May 18A two-day workshop on 3D Relief Work was organised at DAV Public School, Lawrence Road, Amritsar, in collaboration with Pidilite Industries. Rakesh Sen from Pidilite gave the students training on the technique of 3D relief work. Dr Neera Sharma, principal, DAV Public School, Lawrence Road, thanked the resource person for sharing the art with the students.. She said the art was a skill which must be improved and enhanced with practice. It was attended by 50 students of Class XII (fine arts).

The resource person was overwhelmed to see their creativity and praised teachers of the school for putting efforts to groom them. Regional Director, Punjab Zone-A, Neelam Kamra; manager of the school Rajesh Kumar; Principal, DAV College, Hathi Gate; appreciated the school for providing the students with such opportunities to explore and enhance their skills.
