Three children found dead in village tank in Krishna district

(Photo: Representational)Vijayawada: Three children belong to two families who went missing on Monday were found dead in a local water tank in Eedara village in Agiripalli mandal in Krishna district on Tuesday. Kagga Sasank 11 Kagga Chandrika 9 daughters of Kagga Jyothi and Kagga Murali and another child G. Jagadish a son of Pagidamma drowned in the tank. The police parents and local villagers searched intensively for the missing children but in vain. The villagers suspect the children went to water tank to swim in it and drowned by accident.

Kagga Sasank 11 Kagga Chandrika 9 daughters of Kagga Jyothi and Kagga Murali and another child G. Jagadish a son of Pagidamma drowned in the tank. According to Agiripalli police the three went missing from their homes on Monday afternoon. After the parents lodged a complaint the police suspected that Murali the estranged husband of Jyothy could have kidnapped the children and started their probe in that direction. Murali separated from his wife and lives in Vijayawada. Jyothi lives in the village along with her children. The police parents and local villagers searched intensively for the missing children but in vain. Later on Tuesday the locals found the bodies in the tank and informed the parents. The bodies were identified by the shocked mothers Jyothy and Pagidamma. The entire village was plunged in shock following the tragic death of little children. Agiripalli police collected the CCTV footage and are investigating. The villagers suspect the children went to water tank to swim in it and drowned by accident.
