As a result the reservoir has till Tuesday filled up to 82 percent of its storage capacity. Inflows at the reservoir have been 2.31 lakh cusecs while outflows are 1.50 lakh cusecs towards downstream reservoirs including Narayanapur and Srisailam. The capacity of Nagarjunasagar Dam has reached 211.96 TMC ft against its gross capacity of 312.05 TMC ft. Major irrigation projects located in the state have 732.85 TMC ft of water against their maximum capacity of 865.64 TMC ft. Krishna basin has received 527.97 TMC ft of water in the present season while it was 323 TMC ft last year as against total capacity of 601 TMC ft.
