HSC examination begins smoothly across region

Aurangabad: The HSC examinations of the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHE) began smoothly aross the region on Wednesday. Remaining districts of Hingoli, Jalna and Parbhani did not report any detection of malpractice.Over 1.6 lakh students have been taking HSC examination from Aurangabad division through 374 designated examination centres. As announced earlier, mobile phones are strictly forbidden within the premise of examination centres . We have already told examination centre-level authorities to appoint these staffers as additional custodian.

Aurangabad: The HSC examinations of the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHE) began smoothly aross the region on Wednesday. No untoward incident has been reported from anywhere on the first day of exams.However, an official release said, “A total of seven incidents of malpractice cases were reported from Aurangabad division, which includs six from Beed district and one from Aurangabad district. Remaining districts of Hingoli, Jalna and Parbhani did not report any detection of malpractice.Over 1.6 lakh students have been taking HSC examination from Aurangabad division through 374 designated examination centres. Authorities said proper vigilance has been in place to ensure conduct of the examination is smooth and fair manner.Flying squads as well as sitting squads have been formed in addition to few independent squads from revenue department to keep watch on the conduct of examinations. We have already told examination centre-level authorities to appoint these staffers as additional custodian. Non-compliance on part of examination centres would draw stern action,” state board authorities said.The Aurangabad division of MSBSHSE has made counselling service and helpline available for students taking board examinations in addition to centralised helpdesk facilitated by the Pune-based headquarter of the State board.Students or their parents can also contact on helpline numbers (0240-2334228/ 2334284) in case any difficulty, authorities said.
