Students in Aurangabad learned about emergency response

And to deal with these unwanted situations, National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) organised an emergency response learning session ‘Avahana’ for the students and citizens of Aurangabad. The principal of the University Dr Ashok Tejankar along with faculty Dr Sadhana Pandey was present at the drill and showed encouragement to this initiative. The event took place at Dr Babsaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University and most of them were students. Emergencies don’t come invited, be in man-made calamity or a natural calamity. The participants' enthusiasm was evident as they had many questions in stored for the NDRF officials which they brilliantly answered.

Emergencies don’t come invited, be in man-made calamity or a natural calamity. But how to be prepared for such situation is in our hands. And to deal with these unwanted situations, National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) organised an emergency response learning session ‘Avahana’ for the students and citizens of Aurangabad. Around 1200 participants registered for the session wherein they were taught how to tackle tough situations like flood, earthquake, fire breakout etc. and come out safe. The event took place at Dr Babsaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University and most of them were students. The participants' enthusiasm was evident as they had many questions in stored for the NDRF officials which they brilliantly answered.
