2 externed criminals arrested from city

Aurangabad: The crime branch on Wednesday arrested two hardened criminals, who were externed by the police for two years, from different areas of the city on Thursday.Violating the externment orders, the duo was found moving in different parts of the city. As a precautionary measure the police had externed him recently for two years from the city. Accordingly, the crime branch sleuths swung into action and arrested them.“Crime branch assistant police inspector Ajabsingh Jarwal was patrolling in the city when he got the information that a person was moving in Gulabwadi area under the Begumpura police with a sharp-edged weapon,” a police officer said.A team rushed to the spot and found the suspect — identified as Shaikh Shahrukh alias Shareq Saleem (27), a resident of Town Hall Qaziwada — standing at Gulabwadi Chowk with a scythe.“The man had several offences registered against him at different police stations.
