Aurangabad: The brother of 2012 murder victim Shruti Bhagwat filed an affidavit before the Aurangabad bench of the Bombay high court claiming that probe agencies are trying to shield the murderers.The 47-year old woman was brutally murdered in her flat and her body was found charred in the intervening night of April 17 and 18 of 2012.Mukul Karandikar, in an affidavit before the HC, has demanded a CBI probe. He said the CID received one letter from a person who divulged that a now-retired inspector of local police and two constables of the city police were acquainted with the man who committed the murder.
