Man attempts suicide at MSEDCL office

Aurangabad: A man on Friday attempted suicide at the office of state power utility by consuming some pills, alleging that the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited officials have illegally allotted connection to his tenant.The man has alleged that he was forced to take the drastic step after his pleas to the power utility officials fell on deaf ears. Following the incident, the man was rushed to the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) where he was kept under observation till evening.MSEDCL’s joint managing director (Aurangabad zone) Omprakash Bakoria issued directives for registration of an offence against the person for attempting suicide.
