Making of the most of the festival, ladies in Aurangabad celebrated teej . The festival is celebrated to welcome the monsoon season and is celebrated primarily by women. Donned in colourful sarees and dressed up to their most, the ladies completed the worshipping rituals and headed to the grand celebration. City-based community organised various competitions for the ladies on the auspicious occasion. Competitions like decorating the bangles, making garlands , pind decoration, twin dressing up etc. were some of the activities that kept the ladies engaged throughout. The participants came out with interesting artefacts and winners of the competitions were declared later. Amidst all the cultural celebration, the ladies had chance to bond with each other and keep the tradition going.
