Kavadyatra took off with great success on the streets of Aurangabad

Voicing slogans of 'Har Har Mahadev', the devotees of lord Shiva in Aurangabad set out on kavadyatra. This walk went on to be more colourful when various citizens welcomed the kavad with drawing rangoli on every stop of the kavadyatra. Taking to the streets of Aurangabad, more than 500 people participated in this walk. Kavadyatra is a pilgrimage wherein thousands of people walk miles while chanting the name of lord Shiva. And taking this into picture, they made a 501 ft. kavad to complete the long walk across the city.

Voicing slogans of 'Har Har Mahadev', the devotees of lord Shiva in Aurangabad set out on kavadyatra. Taking to the streets of Aurangabad, more than 500 people participated in this walk. Kavadyatra is a pilgrimage wherein thousands of people walk miles while chanting the name of lord Shiva. And taking this into picture, they made a 501 ft. kavad to complete the long walk across the city. Various individuals picked up the long kavad and started the walk at TV center and went onto areas like Ganesh colony , Chelipura, Gandhiputla, City chowk, Gulmandi and ended at Khadkeshwar Mahadev Mandir. This walk went on to be more colourful when various citizens welcomed the kavad with drawing rangoli on every stop of the kavadyatra. People from all walks of life were seen joining the big walk in the city. After the pilgrimage reached the temple, aarti was organised to celebrate the success.
