Bharatanatyam recital impress Aurangabadkars

Under the Aura-Aurangabad concert, this was the fourth dance recital series wherein esteemed Bharatanatyam dancer Kavya Kasinathan presented her dance recital.The dance recital of the evening was commenced by , a well-known Kathak daner Surabhi Parashar. The dance concert series has been curated by Sushri Parwati Dutta with an aim to showcase the Aurangabad Heritage through Indian Dance Heritage. Under the initiative of Aura Aurangabad's Culture Tourism, Mahagami organised a classical dance concert in Aurangabad recently. After she beautifully performed her dance, the second segment of the dance was presented by Kavya Kasinathan, famous Bharatanatyam dancer hailing from Bangalore. Her Bharatanatyam composition started with Mahadeva Shiva Shamboo which was a vibrant shiva stuthi.

After she beautifully performed her dance, the second segment of the dance was presented by Kavya Kasinathan, famous Bharatanatyam dancer hailing from Bangalore. Her Bharatanatyam composition started with Mahadeva Shiva Shamboo which was a vibrant shiva stuthi. The next piece in the sequence was Baraiyaa Venkataramana of the 10 Divine Avatharas of Lord Maha Vishnu – Matsa, Koorma, Varaha, Narasimha, Vamama, Parashurama, Rama, Krishna, Buddha and Kalki. This was set to Raga Shuddha Saveri and Triupta Tala. The last segment was the Aada Pogona Baaro Ranga that concluded with a playful Devara Naama where we see the young Gopikas pleading with Krishna to accompany her in the banks of River Yamuna. This was set Raaga Durga and Thisra Adi Tala. The dance concert series has been curated by Sushri Parwati Dutta with an aim to showcase the Aurangabad Heritage through Indian Dance Heritage.
