Doctors win the day with drama on couples’ issues

The show had a full house at the Yashwantrao Chavan Natyagruh on Friday evening, with a play revolving around conflicts among married couples.Consulting psychiatrist Amol Deshmukh, who was in the directorial role, said, “Stimulating the drama culture of the city and specifically in the medical professionals was the reason that gave birth to this play. As far as the drama’s theme and treatment is concerned, the concerning rise in marital issues and the separation of married couples over petty issues was the deciding factor,” Deshmukh said.The humorous approach helped captivate the audience without offending anyone, he added.
