MSRTC strips its buses of govt ads

Aurangabad: As the Model Code of Conduct (MCC) is in force, the Maharashtra State Road Transportation Corporation (MSRTC) has removed government advertisements from over 1,900 buses across the state. Along with the buses, publicity hoardings and public announcement systems broadcasting government advertisements were also removed. A total of 218 buses in Aurangabad district were covered in the drive, which was carried out within 48-hours of the election declaration.
