Despite this, the police station chief Shamim Ahmed has registered only a case of attempt to rape instead of rape. The villagers became angry against this matter. People demanded the immediate removal of the police officer from the post of the head of the police station.
However, in view of the resentment of the people of the rural and the victim side, the SHO has taken quick action in the case and arrested both the accused Jairam and Parashuram. According to the information, both the youths ran away after seeing the villagers.
