Physiotherapist commits suicide

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: A 26-year-old physiotherapist died by suicide at her home in the Satara area of the city on Tuesday afternoon.As per the complaint lodged with Satara police, the woman went into depression after her husband announced his second marriage on the social media. The deceased has been identified as Ayesha Shaikh and she got married to a doctor in Buldhana around three years ago. Shaikh was the daughter of a former police sub-inspector.A police officer said after getting married the couple stayed in Padegaon area. However, due to differences between them, Shaikh returned to live with her parents. We are in the process of registering a suicide abetment case, the officer said. The trial will now proceed as directed by the court.Loan app: Abetment to suicide case after video surfacesA 24-year-old man in Bhopal died by suicide after being duped of Rs 1.93 lakh in a loan fraud. The man needed money for a new business and came across a number for an online loan app. The person on the other end posed as an executive and convinced him to transfer the money. When the man realized he was scammed, he demanded his money back but was pressurized to transfer more. The police have registered a case on charges of abetment to suicide and fraud.
