‘Despite Telangana loss, BRS to fare well in Maha due to sympathy wave for KCR’

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: Functionaries of the K Chandrashekar Rao-led Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) in Marathwada said the partys loss in the Telangana assembly polls has not dented its electoral prospects in Maharashtra.Pravin Jethewad, the BRS Maharashtra coordinator, said there is a huge sympathy wave in Maharashtra for K Chandrashekar Rao, who is popularly known as KCR, following his defeat in Telangana.More than the political workers, common citizens are taken aback by the outcome of the Telangana elections. People of Maharashtra are well aware of the KCRs immense public welfare works. The sympathy wave will definitely help BRS in Maharashtra, he said.Jethewad said the party would cause major upsets in upcoming elections in Maharashtra. We are not fighting against Congress in Maharashtra. Our fight is against the ruling Shinde-Fadnavis-Pawar government.
