A bird expert was called in for help.Nitesh Jadhav, a certified snake-catcher, attended the rescue call made to environmentalist Kishor Pathak."The bird was unable to fly due to an injury in one of its wings. Its wing could have been caught in a thread of a kite. The bird had to leave its flock due to the injury. It was also in distress due to human contact," he said.Pathak, who administered first aid, said it could take at least a week for the flamingo to recover."The injury seems critical as the bone in the wing has been damaged.
