The police have booked the man under Section 354 (d), stalking, 504 (intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace) and 506 (criminal intimidation). The man gave her a chase quietly and as soon as she reached her home, he again repeated his demand. DONEAurangabad: Cantonment police today booked a 35-year-old man for allegedly beating his wife. Police said that the woman was having tea at a restuarant on September 19 when the suspect approached her.

The woman has reportedly sustained injuries in her head.On September 20, the woman alleged, her husband returned home drunk. "He accused me of being disloyal to him and quarelled with me," the woman said. When she objected, his husband bashed him repeatedly. In the meantime, he also switched off the lights and continued beating her and hit her in head with a hard object that causing profuse bleeding.The woman immediately rushed to the police station who have booked the man under Sections 324 (voluntarily causing hurt by dangerous weapons or means), 323 (voluntarily causing hurt) and 504 (intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace). The man has been absconding.In a separate incident, the Satara police booked a 30-year-old man who allegedly threatened a 28-year-old woman of bad consequences if she won't agree to have relations with him. Police said that the woman was having tea at a restuarant on September 19 when the suspect approached her. He told her that he likes and wants to have physical relations with her. The woman ignored him and immediately left for her home. The man gave her a chase quietly and as soon as she reached her home, he again repeated his demand. When she refused he showered abuses on her and threatened her of dire consequences. The police have booked the man under Section 354 (d), stalking, 504 (intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace) and 506 (criminal intimidation).
