Two pvt member bills on farmers’ right to be tabled in Parliament today

Pilibhit: Two private member bills on the rights of farmers will be tabled in both Houses of Parliament on Friday.According to national convener of the All India Kisan Sangharsh Coordination Committee (AIKSCC), an umbrella organization of 193 farmer organizations from across the country, VM Singh, “One of the bills concerns the right of farmers to get guaranteed remunerative minimum support price for agricultural produce in accordance with the recommendations of the Swaminathan Commission and the other aims at freeing them from debts.”These bills will be presented by Raju Shetty, a Lok Sabha member from Maharashtra, and KK Ragesh, a Rajya Sabha member from Kerala.More than 10,000 farmers will also take out a black flag march from Mandi House to Parliament on the same day.
