Bareilly: The public works department (PWD) has sought for Rs 4 crore from the state government for repairing its roads that fall under the jurisdiction of Bareilly Municipal Corporation and were severely damaged by heavy rainfall.As many as PWD six roads — Collector Ganj, Choupla road, Bareilly Mini Bypass-Qila road, Faridpur-Bisalpur road, Bareilly-Mathura Chawni Marg and Pilibhit road — have been identified for repairing. A proposal has been sent, and the department has been waiting for an approval.PWD’s Bareilly division chief engineer Rakesh Rajvanshi told TOI, “A detailed report of the damaged roads has been sent to the state government. According to estimation the repairing will cost around Rs 4 crore. We have been waiting for the approval.
