Peppy dance numbers welcome fuchchas at colleges in Bareilly

Next up was the battle for titles like Mr and Miss Fresher, and Mr and Miss Popular. The senior batch of PGDM students of Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management and Technology organised a fresher’s party for fuchchas with great gusto. Mr and Miss Freshers contest was a highlight of the event. Jainee Verma, a fresher who clinched the title of Miss Fresher 2108, said, “It feels great and I am enjoying the college atmosphere. After the rounds of introduction, talent and interaction, the Miss Fresher 2018 title was given to Jainee Verma and Mr Fresher 2018 was given to Ekagra Sharma.

After the orientation programme and mentoring session, it was time for new batch to get some fun time – the exciting round of breaking-the-ice.Seniors took to stage to perform to sizzling dance numbers like ‘Kinniya Taareefan Chaidiyan Tainu’, ‘Cheap Thrills’, and the freshers were mesmerised by them. Abhinay Sehgal, another senior sang the song ‘Yaaaron Ji Bhar Ke Jee Le Pal’-dedicated to the juniors and that got a great applause from the crowd.The freshers too had their chance to make an impression on the seniors, as they showcased their talent on the ramp and the stage. The freshers impressed their seniors with their confidence. Mr and Miss Freshers contest was a highlight of the event. The juniors displayed several skills like singing, dancing, poetry recitals and even set the stage on fire with songs like ‘Rashqe Qamar’, ‘shape of you’ and ‘despacito’. Judged on the basis of their talent and question-answer round, Mini Saxena and Naman Agarwal bagged the titles of Miss and Mr Fresher.Shivangi, a college senior, said, “Fuchchas put up a great show, displaying great stage presence. It took us back to days when we were new in this college.”Ashita, a fresher said, “The freshers party was a time for us to bond closely with our seniors where we danced and grooved with them, and it was very entertaining. The best part was that our seniors went gaga over our dance performances and it was very motivating.”Fuchchas at the Lotus Institute of Management received a grand welcome from their seniors at a freshers’ party titled Abhinandan 2018. Freshers broke the ice with seniors with an evening full of singing, dancing and performing other entertaining activities. The freshers’ showcased their talent and impressed everyone with their lively performances. The fashion show was the highlight of the event where freshers walked the ramp with confidence and style. Next up was the battle for titles like Mr and Miss Fresher, and Mr and Miss Popular. After the rounds of introduction, talent and interaction, the Miss Fresher 2018 title was given to Jainee Verma and Mr Fresher 2018 was given to Ekagra Sharma. Jainee Verma, a fresher who clinched the title of Miss Fresher 2108, said, “It feels great and I am enjoying the college atmosphere. It’s so much fun to make new friends and get the support of our seniors. For this event, I had put in all my efforts as I wanted to showcase my talent and create my own identity in the college. I am so happy that all my efforts paid off.” She added, “Being titled Miss Fresher of our college is a great feeling and I am just thrilled at this moment.”Naina and Nishu Gupta perform during the freshers partySiddhi, another fresher, said, “The ramp walk was a great platform for us to introduce ourselves, gain self-confidence and exhibit our talent. Above all, the party was a perfect opportunity to bond with our seniors, who are very helpful. We danced together and had a gala time.”
