They are basically videos shot in a cinematic way and the trend has really caught the fancy of couples in past one year.Shubham Agarwal, a software engineer who got married recently, says, “After seeing some of the wedding teasers of my friends who got married earlier this year, we wanted our wedding highlight to look like a trailer of a Bollywood film. My better half Rajul, and I communicated our idea to our photographer, who created a three-day wedding extravaganza in a short ten-minute video. We got two wedding teasers made for Rs22,000 each and it was worth spending that much money.”Vivek Kumar, a private equity investor, shares with us, “My wife Juhee and I are quite fun-loving and that’s exactly how we wanted our wedding teaser to be like. The photographer captured candid shots not only of us but our entire family in the most theatrical way. It cost us nearly a lakh but it was worth it. A lot of people could not attend our wedding, so we shared the teaser and it made them feel that they were also a part of the wedding,” says Umang Singh, a doctor who got hitched recently.Vivek and Juhee caught in the momentRavi Arora, a professional wedding photographer says, “Wedding teasers have become very popular and couples come to us with a meaningful storyboard and tell us about the kind of visuals they want.
