This Bareilly fair was all about food and fashion

The three-day fest was inaugurated by Neeta Singh, wife of Bareilly DM Virendra Kumar Singh, on the first day. The second and third day was inaugurated by DK Thakur, IG Bareilly Zone, Prem Prakash , ADG, and Ranveer Prasad, Commissioner, respectively. One of the oldest clubs of the city, Rotary Club of Bareilly South, organized its 34th grand Dussehra Mela at Mela Ground with great pomp and fanfare. Ritwik Agnihotri, a resident of Rampur Garden, said, “I enjoyed the dance performances and cultural programmes too. Khushi, who participated in the fashion show at the event, said, "It was a great experience to walk the ramp in a fashion show in front of thousands of people.

The festival was a complete entertainment package for Bareillywallahs who had a chance to enjoy galore of activities, competitions, contests along with variety of entertainment, cultural programmes and dance performances by artists from Delhi, Mumbai and Bareilly. The highlight of the event was musical performances by Delhi artists. Several dance groups from around the country performed at the fest. Ruhani Sharma, a resident of Model Town, said, “The Dussehra Mela was quite a fun place to enjoy with friends." Ritwik Agnihotri, a resident of Rampur Garden, said, “I enjoyed the dance performances and cultural programmes too. And above all, being a foodie, I loved the sumptuous delicacies served at different stalls at the mela." Khushi, who participated in the fashion show at the event, said, "It was a great experience to walk the ramp in a fashion show in front of thousands of people. It was a memorable experience."Kiran
