Man narrowly escapes death after good train runs over him

In the afternoon, he fell on the railway tracks at platform number three while a non-stop goods train was about to arrive. "Daya shankar was under the influence of alcohol and he had also admitted it. Shankar told the police that the man still owes him a payment of Rs 2 lakh.Victim Daya Shankar is a resident of Atramau village of Hardoi district. Using his wit, Daya Shankar remained still while train passed over him. He is still unaware about the person who pushed him on the railway track.

(Shahjahanpur): Few hours after a miraculous escape of a year-old girl in Mathura Junction after a train ran over her, a 26-year-old man narrowly survived a train scare after he fell on the railway tracks and come in the way of a goods train.The incident took place at Shahjahanpur railway station on Tuesday evening. The man, identified as Daya Shankar, miraculously survived with a minor injury.However, the man claims that he didn’t fall on the track but was pushed by the aides of a person, whom he had sold his agricultural plot. Shankar told the police that the man still owes him a payment of Rs 2 lakh.Victim Daya Shankar is a resident of Atramau village of Hardoi district. He had arrived in Shahjahanpur on Tuesday morning for collecting his remaining payment from a local. In the afternoon, he fell on the railway tracks at platform number three while a non-stop goods train was about to arrive. Using his wit, Daya Shankar remained still while train passed over him. After the train passed, the locals were happily surprised to see him alive. Government railway police was immediately called and Daya Shankar was taken to the hospital. The doctors after dressing his wound, allowed him to return home."Daya shankar was under the influence of alcohol and he had also admitted it. He is still unaware about the person who pushed him on the railway track. We are investigating the reason behind this incident and a case will be registered against the guilty after investigation. The victim is out if danger and has been sent back home. We will call him to record his statement, said SHO GRP Shahjahanpur Arvind Pandey.
