IGRS: Bareilly improves tally, still among poor performers

Neighbouring Badaun and Moradabad districts have grabbed top positions along with 11 other districts, indicated the report released by the Uttar Pradesh government card for all 75 districts for November.In Bareilly division, Badaun not only stands first among the four districts — Bareilly, Pilibhit, Shahjahanpur and Badaun – but also performed as good as to grab the first position in the state for timely redressal of the complaints lodged by the common man on the IGRS portal. In October, Bareilly was on 47th rank, while in November, it stood on 45th. This time, again it improved its tally with two points.IGRS nodal officer here Sultan Ashraf Siddiqui said they took all measures to ensure that all departments address complaints lodged to them.“However, some errant officials have taken this for granted. Every month, the performance of every district is measured on a scale of 95. This time, out of the total 95, Bareilly could score only 88 points.
