So, we have put a box at Vikas Bhawan welcoming book donations from citizens,” he said.Notably, teachers of government primary schools in the state have initiated a drive ‘donate books for children’ in districts like Etawah Moradabad and Jaunpur.CDO said, “The aim is to motivate citizens for donating books so that community libraries could be set up in rural areas for the benefit of poor students, who have little access to story books and material other than their syllabus.”CDO said people interested in donating books could contact his office on mobile number 9927625360. “We have put two boxes at Vikas Bhawan for the collection of books. Besides, citizens can also call us or send message on the given mobile number and we would collect books from them.
