12-yr-old boy dies after being hit by mini truck

On Tuesday, around 7:30 pm, he was on his way when suddenly a speeding mini truck hit him. We sent Khan to a nearby hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. An FIR has been lodged against the accused driver. The incident took place at Zarat village under Bhamora police station on Tuesday morning. Bareilly: In an unfortunate incident, a 12-year-old boy was killed after being hit by a speeding mini-truck. The incident took place at Zarat village under Bhamora police station on Tuesday morning. The deceased has been identified as Joeb Khan, a resident of Khuli Taharpur village under Bhamora police station jurisdiction.According to the police, Khan was going to meet his aunt when the incident happened. Accused driver was nabbed and handover to the police by villagers. Police have sent the body for autopsy. An FIR has been lodged against the accused driver. He is survived by his parents, one sister and two brothers.Deceased’s uncle Mushtaq Khan, said, “My wife Hassin Bano went to her relative house at Manakpur village in Badaun district. Joeb Khan also wanted to go there. On Tuesday, around 7:30 pm, he was on his way when suddenly a speeding mini truck hit him. The accused driver tried to flee from the scene but the villagers nabbed the accused driver and took him to the police.”Bhamora police station house officer (SHO), Vijay Pratap Singh, said, “After receiving information about the incident by some villager, we rushed to the spot. We sent Khan to a nearby hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. We have seized the truck. An FIR has been lodged under relevvant sections of the IPC. The accused driver has been sent to jail.”
