Tension in Sambhal after severed cow head found near place of worship

Bareilly: Tension prevailed in Sambhal city’s Sotipura area after a cow head was found near a place of worship. It was on Sunday morning that someone informed him about the cow head.The severed cow head was spotted by local residents when they arrived to offer prayers in the morning. Police took custody of the severed head.ASP Pankaj Pandey said, “It seems that some miscreants had dumped a severed head of a cow near the place of worship with an intention to spoil the atmosphere during election. Before the situation turned ugly, we rushed to the spot and took it away. As news spread, a large number of people gathered at the spot.Someone informed police came and senior officers rushed to the spot.
