Bareilly: Former MP of Samajwadi Party (SP), Sarvraj Singh, joined the Congress party on Sunday. Singh will now contest from Aonla Lok Sabha constituency on a Congress ticket.Notably, the Aonla seat has gone to BSP as part of the SP-BSP seat sharing agreement. They added that Singh will make a huge dent in the SP-BSP votes.Singh has been a three-time MP from Aonla. In 2004, he fought and won elections on a JD (U) ticket.However, in 2014, he lost to BJP candidate Dharmendra Kashyap, and has been preparing ever since for another comeback. After the meeting, the party declared him as the Aonla candidate.With the latest development, political pundits said that elections in Aonla has become more interesting.
