Pilibhit: A team of Pilibhit kotwali seized 130gm smack worth Rs 15 lakh and 500gm charas from a house in Madina Shah locality here on Sunday afternoon.Following a tip off, police raided the house of alleged drug supplier Babu Shah, alias, Afzal, at 4.30pm on Sunday and arrested him.Station house officer (SHO) of Pilibhit kotwali Brij Kishor Mishra said Shah was booked under appropriate sections of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.SHO said besides drugs, police also seized a country-made pistol, two live cartridges of .315 bore and an assault knife from the possession of Babu.Since 1992, Babu had been booked and sent to jail in 13 criminal cases, including five under NDPS Act and two under Arms Act, Mishra added.
