Congress protests rising fuel prices

Bathinda/Abohar: Congress leaders and workers on Friday staged a protest against the continuous hike in fuel prices in Bathinda as for the first time petrol had crossed Rs 100 mark in the city. A large number of Congress workers gathered and raised slogans against the BJP-led Modi government. In Abohar responding to a call given by the Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee hundreds of activists assembled at Nehru Park and held a protest alleging the Centre had failed to control inflation.
