Flight operations resume between Puducherry and Bengaluru

Private low-cost airliner, SpiceJet, will re-launch flight operations from Puducherry to Bengaluru on Wednesday. 30 a.m. marking the beginning of daily flight service between the two cities. The return flight, SG 3420, will take off from here at 10. The airliner, which started service to Hyderabad in August last year under the Centre’s Regional Connectivity Scheme Udan (Ude Desh Ka Aam Nagarik), will open up the route after it suspended operations between Puducherry and Bengaluru four years ago. On Wednesday, a 78-seater Bombardier, SG 3419, will land in Puducherry at 10.

The airline staff said there had been a reasonably good response for the booking which started a month ago.
