The Hindu EDGE Eduvisory concludes

The Hindu’s education expo, EDGE Eduvisory 2018, which came to an end on Sunday, saw more students take advantage of interacting with multiple college managements on one platform. Among students fascinated by biology, many showed interest in B.Sc., instead of MBBS. Samyuktha, Gagan C., and Lakshmi K.M., winners of a lucky draw at the expo in Bengaluru on Sunday. S. Kumar, Executive Secretary, ComedK, also said students should opt for Environmental Engineering as it can address pressing issues of climate change. Colleges offering Ayurveda said it was still an afterthought though there has been a shift towards holistic medicine.

Most appeared to show interest in conventional fields such as engineering, business and management this year too, along with a new entrant to the list: law. Among students fascinated by biology, many showed interest in B.Sc., instead of MBBS. Colleges offering Ayurveda said it was still an afterthought though there has been a shift towards holistic medicine. S. Kumar, Executive Secretary, ComedK, also said students should opt for Environmental Engineering as it can address pressing issues of climate change. The arts and humanities too had its share of takers.
