BENGALURU: Namma Metro passengers can soon look forward to better first and last-mile connectivity. BMRCL along with World Resources Institute (WRI) India and Toyota Mobility Foundation on Saturday launched the IInd phase of the Station Access and Mobility Program ( STAMP ).Wicked Ride, a private firm that operates Metro Bikes, which has been selected under STAMP, will deploy self-driven electric cars and shuttle services at six stations, including Mysuru Road, Yelachenahalli, Banashankari, MG Road, Indiranagar and Mantri Square Sampige Road.“Ninety per cent of the two-wheelers in these stations will be electric. We’ll also introduce selfdriven electric cars and Tempo Travellers,” said Vivekananda Hallekere, CEO of Metro Bikes.
