BMTC Namma Pass: 25% cashback for cashless travel

BENGALURU: Passengers using ‘BMTC Namma Pass’ will now be eligible for a cashback of 25% up to Rs 30 for each transaction for those paying through Amazon Pay.A BMTC Vajra AC daily bus pass costs Rs 147 and the offer is valid till September 30. The firm is also planning to introduce monthly digital bus pass and more payment options for passengers. It can only be availed twice per user during the offer period and cashback will be credited to the user’s Amazon Pay account within three working days.In June, BMTC along with city-based startup Series-5 Labs Private Ltd launched digital pass facility ‘BMTC Namma Pass’. Passengers can visit the webpage www.nammapass.series-5.com, enter personal details, upload a selfie and pay for the daily pass through digital wallets like PhonePe, Paytm and Amazon Pay.Saro Chandra Bhooshan , CEO of Series-5 Labs, said they have added new wallets like Paytm and Amazon Pay so it will encourage more passengers to use the facility.Everyday around 50 BMTC passengers are using the facility.
