BENGALURU: A 14-year-old free run of an illegal Bangladesh immigrant ended after immigration officials caught him at Kempegowda International Airport last week. The same day, two other Bangladeshi nationals were also caught in different cases but for similar offences.These Bangladesh nationals were making attempts to leave the country on Indian passports they had managed to obtain with the help of fake documents including Aadhaar cards.Abul Hussen, 26, came to India with his mother and sister at the age of 12 and was caught after immigration officials flagged him off when he was about to travel to Sharjah on a tourist visa around 9.55am on September 19. This was the first time he was making an attempt to board a flight with an Indian passport that he had got using fake documents. The police sources said that Abul is a native of Batali post in Bangladesh. After coming to India through illegal routes, he lived in Tripura for a long time. Seven years ago he shifted to Bengaluru and worked as a security guard and lived in a house in Kalasipalya.Alluaddin, 34, who was also caught earlier that day, was living in India for 14 years. According to police sources, he is from Khulna district of Bangladesh and his original name was Alal Uddin Kazi. After he reached India, he started working as a supplier in a private hotel in Kolkata and later worked as a plumber. He also went to Bangladesh again through the border to meet his relatives. He shifted to Bengaluru seven years ago and was caught when he was about to fly to Dubai to visit a relative.Ahmed Suhel, 21 was caught around 4.30am when he was trying to fly to Sharjah. From Maulvi Bazar district of Bangladesh , he had arrived in India using a fake visa in 2017. He started living in Tripura and also managed to get a transfer certificate to show that he studied in India. Later, he shifted to HAL 3rd stage this year and with help of local agents got an Aadhaar card and other citizenship credentials.All the three have been sent to judicial custody and the probe is underway. “We are looking for their family members who are living in India,” a KIA police said.
